Wells Fargo Visits OCA

Today at OCA Wells Fargo sent out their corporate volunteer team to work with the adults in our AVT (Adult Vocational Training) program.

Everyone had a great time getting to know each other.  The volunteers assisted the participants with their daily rotation activities which included making ‘Cake in a Mug’, in Cooking Class.  They also etched glassware & made coasters to be sold at the Windermere Farmer’s Market on Fridays and to include in the silent auction at our upcoming Bowl-a-thon.  For the social skills rotation they played Uno and Bingo.  As stated by our Executive Director, Silvia Haas, “the laughter during the event was infectious.  I’m not sure who had more fun, the volunteers or the participants.
